MUA Lipsticks

Today I went on an impulse shopping trip mainly because I wanted to purchase the new limited edition sleek blush trio that I saw on Insagram last night (which I will review in my next blog post) . Whenever I go into Superdrug I can never resist looking in the MUA section because their make up is so cheap, with the majority of their products ranging from £1-£4! I have tried the MUA lipsticks in the past and was impressed with look they give off for the amount they cost (just £1!!). So when I went into Superdrug today I couldn't resist picking up a new lipstick.

I picked up shade 13 and it is a red colour with a slight orangy tinge to it. I was looking for a colour to wear with a neon yellow/green dress and I feel this colour is perfect to wear with many neon colours. I am really impressed with the colour pay off of this MUA lipstick as you can see from the image below. I also love the texture of the MUA lipsticks as they are really creamy and easily to apply if you're in a rush or on the go. As for how long this lipstick lasts on the lips... I have been quite impressed! I have had this on my lips for around 2 hours and it doesn't seem to be budging. The other MUA lipsticks I have purchased in the past don't seem to last as long as this one but perhaps it is because this colour is quite a bit more intense than the other shades I own. 

I also own MUA lipsticks in light pink and and orange colour (shades 4 and 7) which are in the image below...

I am a huge fan of the MUA lipsticks and would recommend them to anyone on a tight budget and who prefers a slightly creamy, easy to apply lipstick.
