Collection 2000 - Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner

This blog post is on my favourite make-up product to create a glittery eye. 

The Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Line can be purchased from Boots and Superdrug stores and is priced at £2.99... so very affordable !!

I usually wear these products when I'm going on a night out because they catch the light really nicely and really add to your make-up. I normally create a smoky eye first and then put the glitter over the top. I would use silver and black/dark grey eye shadow and put Quiz over the top, or I would use gold and brown eye shadow and put Funk over the top. Therefore I normally do not use these products as a liner but more to cover my top eye lid. I also like to put s small amount under my eye.

I think the consistency of the product is really nice and through putting on one layer, letting it dry, then adding another layer of the glitter it really builds up to create a stronger glitter base. This can be shown in the image below where I used 2 layers and the glitter looks quite strong.

The applicator makes the product really easy to apply either as a thin liner or all over the eye lid as it is like a brush. You could also apply the glitter by placing a small amount on the back of your hand and pushing it over the eye lid using your finger. 

This product was used for Leona Lewis's make-up when she appeared on xfactor last year and the image below of her make-up shows that through layering the glitter you can get a really striking look...

This product is also available in various other colours, including green, blue, pink, purple and black. Therefore it can be used with a variety of make up looks.
